I would say another really good rom hack is a radical fire red version, it has up to gen 8 Pokemon, otherwise it has a similar play style to renegade Platinum

i bought a cheap copy of white 2 and it ended up being Volt White 2 lol i am working through it now but its crazy how much more of a challenge it is. Luckily im not nuzlocking so i can over level because thats the only way im beating it
