LMFAO | Where Are They Now? | Tragic Downfall, Greed & Lawsuit

Can you guys believe that it’s already been a decade of party rocking?! Back in the early 2010s, the iconic pop-duo is known as LMFAO basically catered every single house party you ever attended, and if “Party Rock” didn’t play at least three or four times a night, a lot of people would go home disappointed. LMFAO consisted of now 44-year old Redfoo, and 33-year old SkyBlu, an uncle and nephew duo who had actually been working on music with one another for well over six years before finding success. But after striking gold with “Party Rock Anthem” and “Sexy and I Know It”, they would bring their working relationship to an end, and if what’s happened since then is anything to go by, throw their familial relationship into turmoil as well. Four years after the band called it quits, SkyBlu would accuse his Uncle of abandoning him when he needed him most while dealing with a major injury, not to mention withholding his royalties from LMFAO. So, how did what appeared to be the most carefree band in the world end up riddled in acrimony? You’re about to find out.

Saw them in concert in 2010 at The House of Blues here in Dallas. A wife, 2 kids and a decade later it seems like yesterday LOL

They performed at my college when I was a sophomore for our spring concert and it was the best show I’d ever been too. They really encouraged that party atmosphere so everyone was hype. Sad this is where they ended up.

damn man i used to be so obsessed with LMFAO in 2011/2012 as a 13/14 year old.. still listen to them every now and again. i know the music is dumb, but it was so fun. i really hope they do come back one day, even just for one more album. i used to listen to their solo stuff too, especially Redfoo’s, but it just hasn’t been the same..

I'm old enough to remember when Sorry For Party Rocking came out, and it was HUGE. Almost every song on it got a ton of radio time, and you couldn't go anywhere without hearing Party Rock Anthem or Sexy And I Know It
