Imagine the roles were reversed in the community shield. If the ref gave man city a extra 3 mins to score after injury time. Ty would be referencing it at least twice a week for the rest of his life.

Ty Is controversial at times but he has a point. At the end of the day we threw it away and handed it back to City when we dropped points at Liverpool and then to Southampton. We had breathing space and as soon as that space was gone the pressure was off city and they rolled us over. They didn't dominate the league in their own this year, we just failed at the final hurdles which I think was due to inexperience and squad depth.

To be fair, we just need to turn those 2 losses into draws... and it would be 1 point differences.
Watching the game i can see the thinking behind why Arteta bought Rice, Havertz and Timber. Havertz allowed us to play long against City so their press is famous press is less effective sice we can just hoof it to him instead of a Eddie Nketiah, Rice stuck to Rodri like a menace, Timbre and White locked down both wingers.

Agree with Ty. Sure, they beat us 3 times, but it's how many points you finish with. We finished with 1 more loss and 1 more draw than them ! That ain't no whipping.
