5/O hook on a 12' worm???? I have to use at least a 7/O hook for that size worm

5's the way to go. anything bigger is for swimbaits. It's got better action and the fish take em head first anyway. Peg em only in heavy brush unless you like pokin' crap outta your weights. They wont feel the weight either. Rooks!
