I have traveled all around the world, If you are looking for a place to unwind this is the place to be! The energy of this town is amazing, the locals are genuinely very friendly regardless where you are coming from. The overall atmosphere is very peaceful such as the beautiful views all around this charming little town. It is perfect for youngsters and seniors although you need to be able to walk the stairs up and down if your hotel is up the hill. If you visit this place it will for always bring up a smile whenever you reflect back on the time you have spend there. Absolutely worth visiting ❤

Great video of AG, brings back so many memories. I first visited Ag. Galini in the early 70s (during the junta) when George Voulgarakis had recently returned from Australia & opened his Ariston restaurant in the main street. Also visiting Zorbas bar run by (the then) anti-establishment hippy George Kotzanakis (later to be married to Margaret and become the town's mayor) - we used to get visited by the police on a daily basis who weren't happy with George's love of playing loud Chilean revolutionary music (by Inti-Illimani)...
Happy memories of fun meals at Antoni Mindakis's restaurant next door with guest visits by chef Ilias Polomarkakis & his American wife Melissa❤
