Landing at Cooking Lake Airport Alberta with a Crashed C180 in the Lake on Final

Landing on Runway 28 at Cooking Lake Airport near Edmonton Alberta Canada, we saw a C180 seaplane that had crashed into the lake while taking off from the airport. Fortunately the pilot got out uninjured. Due to the low water in the lake and the fact that the plane crashed right in the middle of the lake, it took a while for rescue to get to him.
