This is making Hayes look really good long-term. Hayes just wrestled Rhodes twice already. The first match was great and the second match is even better. Hayes is entertaining as hell. Even though Hayes lost, he made Cody look really good and it looked like Hayes improved fighting against Cody. That experience makes him stronger as a mid-carder. tweak Hayes gimmick a bit. More mic time. Give him some good runs with the united states championship and go from there. At least this is how I view it.
