It will go to court where the SEC will present a very weak case. This in turn will allow Ripple to win the appeal as well as their counter appeal. Meaning they wont have to look like a bad apple and pay a fine for any wrong doing.
However ripple has agreed to keep the current judgment amount in an escrow account. That escrow account is the one being held in the crypto stock pile that’s been discussed at the summit.
Doing it this way helps all of crypto by cementing a Federal court ruling that crypto is not a security. That way no future administration can attack crypto again by saying it is operating as a security
