Please remember Jamaica 🇯🇲 and USA are NOT the only team running at the Olympics. There are some other athletes from other countries who may surprise us. Get real, times doesn’t matter. The most important thing is to execute a good race on that day.

Why we can’t just congratulate the athletes without the negative comparisons?

Goes to show that it’s equally a mental game as much as a physical game. I really thing Coleman let Lyles get in to his head. So oblique maybe the fastest but on that day it’s about how he is overcoming the pressure! He could go as the fastest and mess up in the finals!

Give Lyles his flowers, he did extremely well to win the US trials. By the way, I agree with you, in Paris Oblique is gonna wipe the floor with him. Remember too bredren, at the Racers Grand Prix, Oblique was easing down at the finish while Lyles was struggling to catch up.

Oblique is ok but so far I haven't seen him do anything that Noah can't overcome.

Oblique Seville still have him ticket yes..Oblique beat him fair and square at 9.82. Hype man ran in his Trials yesterday and ran 9.83 but it was wind aided...suh it still don't even register as a fast time for him. Lol (A We Still A Win).!!!! Lol🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲Weh people must understand and get is...this yute here Oblique Seville....he is a very special specimen yow....the yute graduate from Calabar after mashing up CHAMPS with his fast running...entered into the senior track and field at a time when Jamaica was doing really poorly after Usain Bolt had left the sport back in 2016...Everybody did a beat up Jamaica, it was only the ladies dem we did have to look forward to watch a perform great things same way for us while the men side was doing poorly. Oblique is the only athlete for us that came along and beat up back everybody weh did a beat the then crop of Jamaican men at the time...him come and beat, the Italian white boy weh come pon the scene and win a one a Championship (don't remember which year it was) Marcel Jacobs..Oblique beat that...Oblique beat Christian Coleman too, he beat Fred Kerly weh did look like say a him did ago be the next Big Star, Bigger than even Lyles...Oblique Seville beat him up too...and then boom...Oblique is the only Jamaican now can say him beat Noah Lyles in the 100m. Blessed

Damn! Its a good time to be a track fan, as a neutral, aint had this much fun and rivalry since the Bolt, Blake, Gay, Gatlin days. But now its not limited to just the American and Jamaican powerhouses, we have the Europeans and Africans also having their say.

Talk is cheap…don’t get over confident with Oblique…the Olympic Games bring a different kind of pressure…Oblique now has to prove that he can win anywhere, not just on his home turf..my opinion

On a SERIOUS note…..Where can we really find the ENTRY list of the athletes participating in the respective events at our National Championships/Trials? Where can we find the SCHEDULE of events that should begin on Thursday?
Am I looking in the wrong place ? The JAAA Website has NOTHING at this present moment, not withstanding, the championships is set to begin just 3 days from now. Someone please direct me to where I can find this information.

Aint a Lyles fan. but why are you replaying the Seville Noah race more than ten times. I actually dont like Noah Lyles but to be honest and fair, he is a formidable athlete at this point and the odds are likely that he might grab it again due to the consistence he has shown. This consistency is very important for a promising gold medalist. Back to Seville. a very talented chap who is my favorite too. The problem with him is that at the start he got the gas and endurance but as we go down the heats he appears to wear down as the heats go by and by the end of the final he does not deliver the promise. This is the same that omanyala does. he fails in the big stages due to wearing down. To beat this man atleast you got have a plan to remain sturdy and endurance throughout. I would like to have him dethroned but then no one has yet reached a standard to convincingly send a warning to him, not even Seville, he got to remain sturdy and consistent

Noah is still the favorite to win gold. Seville won in Jamica. Can he do it thru the rounds? Don't think so.

Coach the fire 🔥 is there already, please stop adding fuel to it 😀Anyway, I was most impressed with the high school athlete, big up to him, he has a whole heap of potential 🇯🇲💪🏾

The person who will win the Olympics is going to win it in 9.7s. I think🤷‍♀️

Noah loves all people. His personality is good for the sport of track and field. The fastest time doesn't equal a gold in the Olympic 100 meters final. Most guys flop under this type of pressure, in my opinion.
