I cant fit the hexagon sticks into 2 holes. Only of them gets in. Its either one or the other

Do we have to remove the felt stickers before putting the top?

It would help if Ikea made the instructions easier as many of us find the pictures not helpful

i am missing the parts shown at 9:04, and ikea can’t give them to be because i don’t have a receipt (bought it second hand). Now only 1 side of the desk can rise up. Anyone have an idea what i can use to replace this part with a little DIY tool?
