For 40 years we’ve just duct taped a 2’ piece of 1.5” PVC to a 4’ piece of rebar and they worked great in the surf. But this is fancy..think I’ll make some up. Really appreciate your channel Keith. Thanks a lot! 👍👍👌

Another great tip. These kinda videos just feed on each other and inspire new ideas and better ways to do things. A custom made life for less than retail! 🤙💥

You can also purchase a threaded nob from Lowes with the same thread pattern. It will allow you to hand tighten the holder to the stake without using pliers or a wrench.

That is a great idea. Don't forget to store your pvc glue upside-down so it does dry out

Another goodun Keith. This is a purty good rod holder. Small enough to tote along with your rods and not be too burdensome. And the hammer could be used to whack them big uns when you drag em up.
Real good idea, even with your adult supervision of Cranky !
God bless you and your family. And I hope ya'll have a blessed day.

Made a couple of these the other day. Taking the hanger apart does work but found it quicker to loosen it and slide it on the pvc pipe and just tighten it down after threading the bolt in the hole you drilled out. Both ways work it just saved me a little bit of time. I appreciate the video, wouldn’t have built them without watching it.

Enjoyed you instructional vid. You were just detailed enough without getting tedious. But best of all it was entertaining. Thanks

I made 2 of these holders and they came out great. I used them for first time yesterday and they are rock solid. Thanks dude!

I like this one. One of the best bank holders I've seen. I don't do a lot of fishing that needs a rod holder, but I might make a couple of these for those few instances that do.

I bought two light weight fence posts and a 2' length of 1 1/2" PVC. Bend the fence posts to your desired angle, drill holes in the PVC and bolt them to the posts. 2' of PVC cut in half makes 2 holders. I sharpened the bottom of the posts to facilitate putting them in the ground. They cost about $8 each. Work great.

Thank you for the video on the bank fishing rod holder I can't wait to build a couple one for my nephew and one for myself.
I have a strong working knowledge in the plumbing and irrigation fields so making this would be a great project to get my nephew to give me a hand in making.
Again thank you for all your dyi videos I really appreciate them.

Sincerely Michael

That is one good rod holder I like the steel bar and tighten the for holder to that rod by the bolt. That way you can bit on the steek rod then slide the rod holder over the steel bar and tighten the bolt to the steel bar locking the rod holder. And to remove losen the bolt slide the rod holder off and bang on the steel rod and took it back and forth and remove seperated from the pvc part of the rod holder. Great idea thanks for sharing.

That’s a great design. That’s the same design I use for pier fishing. I strap is to the pier with extra large zip ties
