I rode in Jonestown rescue 10 as a kid as my grandpa drove us around town. Talk about a great way to become fascinated with the firefighter culture! I will always miss him.

I remember he was telling me about being the chief of Jonestown. One night he pulled out a map and said that he had a plan of attack if anything were to happen on any part of the community. I was young at the time so he had to explain to me that you have to think of any possibility that could happen and how you would respond. That opened my eyes at such a young age.
