"What do you see?" Nandini Rao, a leader in Indian theater, shares her ideas on art appreciation through an interactive session at TEDxAJCE April 2018. Challenging society's trend of fitting art into templates, she reasons that the way one understands art should be unique and personal. Art should be felt, not analysed. Belonging to one of the oldest families that had kept theatre alive for generations, it came as no surprise when Nandini Rao became one of the rare women theatre directors in India. Her love for direction gave her many roles to play, from scripting plays to costume designing. Graduating from Karnataka Chitra Kala Parishat in Fine Arts, being trained by directors popular nationally and internationally.

I saw passion. However, educators tend to lack of articulated artistic-oriented communation skills. By this, I do not mean any jargon related with languaje or speech but natural and universal empathy. I did not see ït¨, but good try.
