Over 50 years later, it still looks like a Chrysler RB block 🤘🏻🤘🏻

That's a lot of work for a few passes on the track before another rebuild. The amount of labor invested in these per race is pretty amazing.

One question. What do you put on the main stud nuts prior to torque down? Look to be some type of lubrication. Thanks again.

My question is this, why not pull the front wheels out to the wing tip so they are in the air flow steam and help with guiding the car ?

What tolerances are you running on this engine? And what is the plate assembly that you bolted to the front of the block?

So you can become famous and leave a legacy. The main bearing caps are steel the block is alum. and there is a huge difference in how they move around at high rpm. That’s why you spin so many bearings and have so many rod failures. You’re a machinist make a one piece crank cap that covers all the mains and bolts to the block out of alum. Then the crank will move around in a controlled manner. But what do I know I’m just a simple Aerospace Engineer
