iiø - V7 - I pattern using the Coltrane Pentatonic scale in 3rds. Harmony explained:

F#ø = A Melodic Minor/A Coltrane Pentatonic (implies iv Minor tension in the key of E).

B7alt = C Melodic Minor/C Coltrane Pentatonic (Implies V7 tension using Altered scale).

E△ = E Lydian/C# Coltrane Pentatonic (Brings out # 11 extension).

Another brilliant short 🙇‍♂️
QQ - is the scale over the F#half dim reflecting the parent scale of A melodic minor (ie its essentially modal)? Also, on the last chord, out of interest how come you don’t voice the #11 in the E chord ? Thanks, and keep teaching us. ☺️
