1972 Chevelle 454 Big Block with 2.5' Magnaflow Exhaust || LOUD!!

Proctor installed a brand new 2.5" Magnaflow exhaust system on his 1972 Chevelle 454 Big Block. It sounds MEAN! He thinks it's too loud but I disagree. What do you guys think?

Sounds incredible. I’ve got a 1970 Elk with an LS6 454. Long tube headers going to 2.5 dual exhaust. I’ve got these TERRIBLE Hush Thrush mufflers on it right now. Way too quite. These sound incredible. Bringing mine to a shop to have a set installed. Dumping it behind the rear axel too. Looks better that way to me. I use to have a 67 sbc C10 and that’s how I ran it. Magnaflow’s dumped behind the rear end. Looks right and sounds great.

If you run the pipes all the way out the back it will lower the volume and cut the drone inside the cabin way down. Will make the car much more enjoyable to drive. Trust me, been there snd find that. Loud and with drone is cool at first but it gets old quick.

Nice car love the brake lights in the 71’ & 72’s. Also, really liking the 'Nixon now more than ever’ sticker too. My dad & I are building a 67’ Chevelle with a cammed 6.0 should be great fun!
