Αν βρείτε βδέλλες μπορείτε να τις διατηρήσετε σε ψυγείο, με λίγο υγρό χώμα περίπου ένα μήνα ,για μένα είναι το πιο καλό δόλωμα, ειδικά για χέλι και γουλιανό,και να μην ξεχνάτε την απόχη στο σπίτι σας, ευχαριστώ
Leeches are a great bait for Wels catfish and eels.
We can find them in the shores of rivers, under the mud and they are a bit hard to find.
Among the different species of leeches, you may find the medicinal leech, which is used (as it's name suggests) for medical purposes. It's bigger than the other leeches. You don't need to use this one for bait. The smaller ones I show in the video are more prefferable bait.
Gather around 30 leeches, only to have enough for your fising needs. You can store them in a refrigerator along with some moist dirt or mud, they can last for a month.
Tie the bait to the fishing line and throw it in the river. Catfish is a nocturnal fish, so during the night the catfish or the eels will get the leeches, and they'll get caught in the hook.
But, as all things in life, sometimes you get some, and sometimes you don't.
