New Patch Buffed Strength (v1.09) - Elden Ring #shorts

So the new patch v1.09 dropped out of nowhere and we got a lot of buffs for the strength build. And so I'm back from outer space.

So v1.09 dropped and buffed a bunch of colossal weapons and colossal sword (among many others.) 😂 what's your favorite part of the patch? Personally I think it's the Great Club gaining holy damage. I think we'll be fighting a bunch of undead enemies in the upcoming Shadow of the Erdtree because of it. What do you guys think?

I was literally using jellyfish shield to cheese on my mage setup on my run for platinum. I’d just killed Maliketh when the patch came down, uncanny timing. At least I got to enjoy 80 hours of a pure int build.

I tried the new update and the change doesn’t feel all too big to have to change your entire build. It’s still viable to enjoy the game and have good stats

My jump attack definitely received a colossal debuff, but I only used it to deter and it still does the job. My fights feel more fair now anyways. Barely upset, but honestly good update. Will always miss my extra 700 damage.

I finally tried out using a mage build a couple days ago, my first thought was “if this is what faith is competing with nearly every incantation needs a buff”.

The fact that You had to switch instanly to Mage to buff guy because of the buffs is crazy

they buffed strength, but that's not the only reason to switch from spell builds--there is also a huge glitch that came with this update that makes aura & body buffs no longer apply the damage increase to spells! so golden vow, fire strengthen me, and any other damage boosting buff (including AoW's) cannot be used for buffing mage builds right now sadly. definitely needs a hotfix
