Microsoft BUILD 2014 - Windows Phone 8.1 and Windows 8.1 Demo.

Today Microsoft introduce Windows Phone 8.1 and Windows 8.1.

Windows 8.1 Update 1 for PC already Available starts from April 8th 2014.
Windows Phone 8.1 for Developer already Available starts from April 14th 2014.

In X years when a holographic assistant with Ai will take care of everything this will be fun to re-watch :) until then, keep up with the good job.
That said.. pls revamp the apps b/c they seriously lack compared to Android. Bing also has problems to find things compared to Google.

every people have been criticising app market of windows phone, and he gave just 2-3 mins about i hope they will improve the apps market. it is a real serious problem. maybe the unique hinder that wp can not pass android yet

we lost that in-built fb app because of 8.1 update. And 8.1 offers a wrost fb app.
We need that in-built fb app back. Direct chat from messaging, uload photo 📷 directly to fb, post 📮 update's directly, checkin directly, these all we lost because of 8.1 😠 pls bring back those days back plz 😓

The more I use Win 8.1 the more I hate it.  I have used windows 8 for over a year now.

I love my windows phone but I don't want a phone interface on my PC. I have a PC for power use, which is much more difficult now.     I have lots of programs and can't always remember  the exact names of all the programs .  Sometimes it takes me a few minutes just to be able to start a program because there is not concise logical list of programs. I can't remember the exact name  to type in, and the clunky icons take a long time to scan through.   Apparently their "Usability Studies people"  were not included in the development of Win 8.1 for PC.

And don't tell me to download a third party Start menu.  Include the Start menu list in the actuall Windows OS.  Why do I want to install a third party start menu that may include malware, or incompatibilities.  Its that simple.  Since when is a concise list of items (or programs) a bad idea.  When I go shopping I bring a list.  I don't draw big squares with labels inside that cover 3 sheets of paper in  seemingly random order.

 And, of course, I love that fact that computer settings are all rearranged.  I love the fact it takes me 20 minutes to  look up how to do something I already knew how to do previously.  Its all very cryptic to get to the settings. Thanks for dumbing Windows down also.  Sure, that's good for my Windows phone, but not so much for my desktop PC.  Way to go Microsoft.  I used to be a Windows "Champion".  Now the more I use Win 8.1, the more I hate it.  Sure its seems stable, but my productivity is way down and my frustration level is way up.

It never to late to fix something.  Fix  Windows  please.  I want Windows for PC to be useful again.  If I want an OS thats dumbed down for the user, and requires an entirely new learning curve I will move to Linux, or Google products.  

To hammer home the point, I have an extra copy of Windows 8 laying around unopened.  And that's how it will stay, unless of course I throw it in the garbage.

I love windows, yes even windows 8....after the updates anyway. But microsoft needs to get on the ball with their apps. I mean they don't even have an official youtube app right now!

Even if all the governments of the world pooled their resources and put their best minds to the task, they could not create a bigger tool than this guy.  We would need extra-terrestrial help to build a tool large enough to overshadow this man's douche baggery.  Lumia 520 + WP 8.1
