I love how she knew how to work with her voice no matter what stage of her life she was in! This was quite a few years after she found out she had nodules in her lungs and its like she totally reinvented her voice and learned how to work with it to still gove us that Whitney sound we all love! This is my second favorite live version of this song... My first having to be the 1990 version she did live at the 15th Arista anniversary! That version is her at her absolute prime! When her voice transitioned into being a little more gruff but still sweet as well! I just have always loved her! Since I was 3 and I used to sing it My Love is Your Love in my car seat lol

The courage it must have taken to sing this song, knowing that her voice was not what it used to be.The intelligence it must have taken to adapt the song to suit the new range and abilities of her damaged voice. The pressure to still sing at that level knowing that her voice was not as secured as before must have been such an ordeal. And Oprah who kept referring to her as The Voice when Whitney must have known that her voice was not as beautiful as it once was. Even more than the voice, it was her soul and unique musicality that make her such a special and unique artist.
