I stumbled upon the audiobook of The Hating Game here on YouTube yesterday and have basically spent today doing household chores whilst listening to it and it was exactly the dumb, lighthearted, cliché story I needed to get out of a reading slump (if you can count listening to audiobooks as reading). Would I go out and purchase a physical copy? No, but I‘d give it a shot if you can get it at your library.

Sorcery of Thorns, to me, was a book I would really enjoy in middle school. A bit too young and slow for me but can see why it might be fun because of how whimsical and low-stakes it feels!

Hi Cari, perfect timing! We are flying from Philly to San Fran to see family! I have total anxiety on flights so I usually turn to crossword puzzles and read. Finishing King of Scars right now😉. But will have to check out your picks. I also get cyber sickness, have for years, I use the 20/20/20 rule (every 20 mins look at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds). It helps a little with eye strain. The dizziness and headaches are the worst tho! Hope you feel better soon! Thx, take care❤️

YESS we love the Fable/Namesake supremecy on this channel!!! 😫😭 The Last Legacy was a super great book, although I wish it was a tad bit longer. Also, I put Sorcery of Thorns on my tbr pile for this month, since I read An Enchantment of Ravens last year- and we ALL know how much you - and I - love that book Cari! 🤣 Can't wait to start SOT, I've got high expectations for it! 🤍
