About us: Hello! We – Olya and Vitalik. Two young people from UKRAINE, Kiev. Together we make puppets and together represent them at the OlVik Dolls. We often present our work at international exhibitions and our skill grows with every year (as well as the price :) Creating dolls is our hobby, which helps us to travel more often.
About dolls: Our dolls are made from natural, burnt clay at 1000°С, painted and covered with high-quality semi-matt varnish. Natural burned clay – a strong and interesting material for dolls, though difficult to work. Interestingly it is the fact that it is natural - doll gets more energetic, warmer and more alive. Take them in your hands, and you will understand everything yourself. Our articulated dolls have an average of 19 parts, which pulled spandex. The joints are carefully taped skin, to improve the fixation of positions and prevent wear. Each doll is created in the course of 2-3 weeks, sometimes months. All our works are original and unique because completely made by hand. The animals artdolls – this is our next experiment. Their pug and legs also made of clay, painted with watercolors and secured with varnish. The body is made of faux fur, filler – padding polyester and sand.
