Build and Deploy a REST API with Flask #5 Creating the Database with Flask SQLAlchemy. In this video, we look at how to create our project database with Flask-SQLAlchemy. Flask-SQLAlchemy is an extension that allows us to use SQLAlchemy with Flask.

This allows for us to create database models as classes which allows us to form our database queries using Python code.
