I saw a demo a couple of months ago, about new hybrid laptop LCD screens with a reflective substrate that could be enabled for outdoor usage, great!

We cannot pursue sunlight legibility on cell phone screens forever upping the backlight brightness, as it is unneficient, consumes battery life and will never provide satisfactory results.

I believe that on the near future, we'll have cell phone screens that are readable and as colorful on sunlight as reading a magazine outdoor

i was just thinking the same thing. maybe it's cuz omnia 2 has 65k colors whilst omnia hd has 16 million colors, perhaps? just out of interest, how good is the battery and sound quality through the 3.5mm jack on omnia hd?

@duykhang524 it is set to maximum brightness, that is why it looks oversaturated. Apparently light sensor is set off.

I can say one thing, it is all about the Operating sys. this is the most important thing. I have to say HTC Hero & Samsung Galaxy since they uses Android (fast OS). and I-phone even though I don't like it but I have to say i-phone comes in 3rd place. the rest uses windows mobil OS and it sucks.

i have the omnia hd too and the screen is soo amazing but how could it be better than the 800*480 WVGA omnia 2 screen, little bit crazy, both the phone has AMOLED screen
