I have iPhone 11, iOS 14.4.2, I can’t use the feature handoff: I put my iPhone close to my HomePod mini but song doesn’t switching automatically. I can do it only manually.

Did they change something when handing off phone calls? I get a pop up message on my iPhone that says “move from iPhone” that I have to acknowledge/click on in order for it to switch over. This makes hand off less convenient. This does not happen when handing off music. Any idea why they made it this way?

Still not entirely convinced why I shouldn’t use my iPad or my iPhone 11 for all of the same tasks. Personally I think the The HomePod is struggling to find its place
