Jerry is about an update on this was a spark plug failing what was going on because that car should be sitting at over 40 and full throttle should be 60

Not normal. At least not to me. I have a 04 Silverado with a 4.8. After driving it for a bit, to get everything warmed up, my oil pressure is at about 38 to 40 at Idle (550). And the specs for oil pressure for mines at least is 7 psi for every 1000 rpm.

So this is normal they’re right cause mine is doing the same thing sits at 40 when I push the gas. It goes to 60.

normal is 30-40 at idle so I would say its normal. remember too high oil pressure is not good either. you don't want it sitting at 60 at idle.

It’s supposed to be within the 38 to 42 range but mine was doing the same thing going to 48 to 50

I think these chevys come with that service tire monitor system light on when they're brand new. My dash looks identical to that except for the right amount of oil pressur

Oil pressure is ok. Probably shouldn’t do that on a flat tire though

The oil pressure sensors are known to become faulty. They stick and give high readings. Sometimes when they get real bad it will read 80 when the car acc is on without the engine running. Easy fix.

My Astro van idle at 25 psi hot 60 psi at throttle

You don’t believe it or not some of these cars that have these don’t really do anything and they are called dummy gauges. It’s for those people that act like they know things about their car but in this case, I’m pretty sure something’s fucked up.

My 04 avalanche hits 60psi on the oil gauge at just over 2k rpms

At 4000 rpm I hope it's got good pressure 🙄

Mine is doin the same thing and the battery loses power when i hit the brakes
