Sir at 21:30 we concluded that V doesn't depend on r1 & r2 but only on r. My question is since the value of r depends on the values of r1 & r2, shouldn't the V also depend on r1 & r2?

Sir how can we prove that gravitational/ electrostatic force is a central force ..? Because just saying " these forces acts along the line joining them " do not satisfy me
