Hamburg is my hometown since a few years. I travelled all around Germany, born and raised up in Bavaria, I studied in Heidelberg and Munich but nothing compares to Hamburg. 😍People here are so open-minded, so friendly, it's a joy to live and work her. Best place to be.

Hamburg is connected to the North Sea not Black Sea. And Black Sea is as good as Black Forest or Black Foot. 😀

I live in Hamburg Germany and it’s really a great place to live or visit. But this video doesn’t even cover a fraction of what Hamburg has to offer. Feel free to check out other videos about Hamburg.
But anyway you have a new sub from me.
Best wishes from Germany 🇩🇪

A fun video of some of the things that Hamburg has to offer.

I think you meant the BALTIC Sea which NE of Hamburg and then the NORTH Sea is NW of Hamburg.

I'm old. This video kept switching scenes too fast and sometimes the words popped up for too short of a time.
I went to the original video and slowed it down to 50% and that was a lot better.

I think y'all would enjoy seeing Europe by train/mass transit. Trains are less expensive than by car rental plus costly gas. Gas is about 2-3 times the cost that we pay here per gallon.

What is holding you back? It's quite easy for Americans to move to Europe. Here in Germany we have job-seeker-visas, which allow you to come and stay for a few month and look for a job. I don't know about your qualifications, but even a minimum wage job at McDonalds will allow you to live a decent life. All social benefits (health insurance for the whole family, accident, unemployment and pension insurances) are granted from day one of you working. And your kids get 250€ a month each from the government until they are adults and work themselves. So, again: What is holding you back?

Sorry, but definitely not the Black Sea. It's the North Sea. But to be sure, the Black Sea is a calm puddle compared to the North Sea.
No matter. Hamburg is a beautiful city, with lots of canals, bridges, parks, lakes, and loads and loads of open waterways throughout the city.
You might have guessed it, I love my adopted home city.

I love Hamburg grew up there and love all the rivers, lakes and canals. It's a real water city, in the city center it's hard not to find water. It's also the city with the most bridges in Europe, I also got my sailing license here because it's just worth it.For us, ships are also public transport, which I often use without having to go anywhere. I usually sit on the deck and drink beer while I'm sailing through Hamburg. There are also so many restaurants and exciting places here that over the years I have made a list of where I have been and where I would like to go, especially going to exotic or recommended restaurants has become one of my hobbies.
I would also like to travel and maybe live and work in Italy for a while but Hamburg will always remain in a Hamburgers heart.
Many here are also more patriotic to their city than to the country, but a healthy kind of patriotism, often it's about the beauty of the city and a love for the sea culture like having bottled boats have stuffed animals as seals, sea animals or seagulls and things like pictures or bottle openers with the port of Hamburg, the town hall or the Michel Church design. We eat more fish than the rest of Germany and also have fish or seafood in many dishes, but of course we also like to eat dishes from the south or east.

Hi, I'm from Hamburg! It's a nice clip but that guy missed a number of things and put way too much emphasis on that Vogelball festival ... which I have never heard of before, ha ha ha. But yes, thank you for picking a clip on my city! That's really nice of you.

I figured it out: Charlie looked it up for you and knowing that the black see is not for you he told you Hamburg was connected to it. So he can move to the Netherlands with you.

I really want to go to Hamburg too. Drove past it on the way to Denmark from Wiesbaden where I live. Germany borders the North Sea. The Black Sea is not somewhere I would want to be near either. The Black Sea is over by Ukraine. You need to come to Germany for a visit. So much to see.

Hamburg is a large city in the north of Germany that is easy to travel to from all over the continent, specially from anywhere in Germany.

Ik leef in de Neeg vun Hamborg un leev düsse Stadt, de ik blangen Berlin as de op Stadt ansehn heff. Natürlich hett Hamborg över de Elbe Togang to de Noordsee. Noorddüütsland is allgemeen weniger bekannt as de Süüd. Dorüm hörrt Hamborg un Sleswig-Holstein nah Glücksatlas to de glücklichsten Bundslänner vun Düütsland. To nömm is, dat Hamborg to de 16 Bundslänner tellt wurrd.

Here is the translation from what I wrote in Low German.
I live near Hamburg and I love this city, which I consider to be the most open-minded city next to Berlin. Of course, Hamburg has access to the North Sea via the Elbe. Northern Germany is generally less well known than the south. I think you'll be more comfortable up north. We North Germans are said to be a bit more reserved, that's true. We are calmer more relaxed with less stress. Another advantage is that it is not so densely populated. That is why Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein are among the happiest federal states in Germany according to the happiness atlas. It should be mentioned that Hamburg is one of the 16 federal states.

The Black Sea is a part of the Mediterranean (above the Bosporus). F.e. the Ukraine, Turkey, Bulgaria or Rumania are located at the Black Sea.

My favorite city for extended holiday is Berlin. That city has everything, even a lipstick museum. Also, a very good restaurants. NE Berlin around Prinzlauer Berg has all kinds of restaurants. And they are not expensive, food is cheap in Berlin. Uncommon for such a big city.

Hamburg is not really connected to the Black Sea, the Elbe flows into the Northsea. Then you have to sail into the Atlantic, into the Mediterranean and then you get into the Black Sea. Otherwise you have to go upstream and change into the inland canal network of Germany and then into the Danube river that takes you through Bavaria, Austria, Hungary and finally into the Black Sea.
