"What the f#¢k does Kyle petty have to do with this?!?" That's gotta be my favorite Dale Jr sound bite of all time

This is the most genuine Dale Jr conversation ever. Dude is a curse-word machine away from the cameras, love it 😂

I’d like to think Kyle Petty was watching this and laughingly saying _“that’s incredible!”_

Honestly one of the most civil disagreements I have ever seen. Both men respected the other’s opinions and did not let emotions get them too heated and were able to come to a civil conclusion. Bravo. Good to see this type of disagreement rather than the days of old yelling name calling and insulting.

Mike said it best, “you’re the driver I’m not.” Dale being the driver having dealt with these situations makes him more credible than a media manager imo.

This is by far the best racing talk clip of the year. Mike was dead wrong and just kept double talking his way further into a hole.

As a former driver, flagman, scorer, you name it, i've done it, I totally agree with everything Jr said. This was a great conversation !

This is why I like Mike being on the show. He's not afraid to touch on certain subjects & he's not bashful about asking _those_ types of questions or sharing his opinion.

You're exactly right Jr. A Veteran driver knows how to retaliate without it looking like retaliation. The classic move was by Ross on the final race before the Championship race....flooring it riding the wall to eliminate Hamlin from a chance at a 2022 Championship. Talk about schooling a driver!!! I loved it!!!!

Denny absolutely crowded Chastain and wrecked him in front of the entire field. Absolutely.

Man y’all gotta start releasing the full podcast videos on YouTube. I’d actually watch the whole thing. Listening to it just don’t do it justice.

The fact that the Hamlin scene is still causing conversation like this proves the brilliance and experience of Hamlin. Why?? Because Hamlin created the perfect storm to PROVE NO ONE can prove Hamlin did this on purpose!!
Contact was made, but all Hamlin has to say is "my car got light and I may have drifted up." No one can prove a thing otherwise...which is why it will ALWAYS be a debate!

I really appreciate the insights and perspectives discussed on your show. In this conversation, I think something that Dale was closer to than Mike is that any race consists of a time when one driver competes against one other driver to the exclusion of other cars. It becomes very personal and limited to only one other competitor. Call it emotion, call it skill, call it being smart, call it competitive spirit or whatever, but a driver's priorities can be influenced by becoming so focussed on competing with one other driver that they get real good at concealing the way they win. Hamlin is a veteran and I like that.

When Denny was on the Bumper Door Clear podcast and they brought this up to him, Denny's impersonation of Dale Jr was hilarious.

Damn it Mike, I've been watching this my whole f**cking life. Loved it. Like trying to explain to your wife or friends how much racing is a part of who we are. Literally my whole life also. Love the back and fourth.

I wonder what Denny and Ross thought of this clip. Lol! Good stuff!

Mike sounds like arguing with my wife, it's a moving target on what were discussing. The debate should have been, is moving up the track to block (Car is behind you) the same as moving up the track to force the car into the wall(Car is beside you) the same thing. And JR is dead on with how an wise driver uses a scalpel and not a hammer, this is how you keep the officials out of you pocket when you need some getback.
