If, and I don't really expect it to happen, the first story gets a part two, it could be of the boys and some survivors in the fallout of the apocalypse. How they survive, lamenting the time that had gone by, and taking shelter from the undead. They get breached and are attacked, with half their group weeded out, and the guy's classmate dying to hold some of them off while the rest escape. The story ends with the remaining survivors getting rescued by a group of other survivors in a fortified vehicle. Off to survive another day.
