Double thank you for this one. First off, I tried the recipe and loved it. The only difficulty I had is working out what you meant by "thick cream". Apparantly this is an Aussie term for cream with about 33% fat? Anyhoo I tried it with British double cream and it came out a bit gloopy. So, I watered it down a bit with whole milk and then it was perfect for drinking... but the cream has a tendency to separate. Just so I understand the process better... is the blender supposed to homogenize the fat and the whiskey?

Also sorry I want to make this and give as a gift, will it be ok to be out if the fridge for about 4 hours or so? I need to drive it am hour and meet for breaky then she will need to drive it home?
