Iowa state troopers arrested a protester during a demonstration at the state’s capitol on April 8 against a series of bills that would step up both protections for police and increase penalties for activities including unlawful assembly. #Shorts

This video, taken from footage recorded by Instagram user @aestheticsconash, shows protesters inside the Capitol, and captures the moments when state troopers detain one of those gathered inside. According to the Des Moines Register, an activist named Josie Mulvihill was arrested and charged with assaulting a police officer.
