Tnx for all the videos man they are really helpfull! Will you be doing special video on resupply? I think many future hikers would benifit from that! Darko

As far as micro spikes go for snow and ice

I too also use ktulla for the past I don't know exactly 13 years and they're still going strong but then again I don't use them as much as you have on your past two through hikes mine are just for light duty so they lasted a whole lot longer

Loved following you along the trail. Unbelievably I was in a queue for fish and chips in Wales and met a guy who did the PCT finishing a month ago. Didn’t get his name but I doubt there were many Welsh guys on the trail 😂

You mentioned you wore the Fleece the entire time through the Sierras before swapping them in Oregon, do you think that would've also wore the Alpha if you had that for the Sierras instead? Or do they have different temp ratings with the alpha not being as warm?
Glad to hear you didn't need the puffy.

Point noted about the gaiters and the resulting chewing through socks. I don't understand why anybody would ever hike without them. I even use the foot-tall ones rather than the ones that only wrap around your ankle.

I have a hat similar to that one, except mine's discontinued love the mesh sides on it and the flexible brim. Glad to see a replacement if I do need one.

Other than that, glad to hear your thought process about the gear choices you made. Everyone has different styles and tastes.

Loved following your hike and really appreciate the post-hike reviews and advice. Question: what would be your personal opinion on having an alpha direct mid-layer + puffy jacket in Sierra (instead of the heavier Lightheart fleece + puffy that you carried)? Since you didn’t use your puffy jacket much, I’m thinking I might be okay with a lighter Alpha direct top paired with a puffy. Thx for your perspective.

Thanks for the update. While watching your PTC hike I noticed that it didn't rain much (fire was a different story). I am currently watching your AT hike and it looked like it rained a lot the year you hiked the AT. What gear did you use on both the PCT and AT that will continue to stay in your kit for future hikes.

Not using gaiters on the PCT seems like the strangest thing to me compared to like the AT.

What type of gaiters did you use with the Topo’s. How did they connect to the shoe. The Topo gaiters get horrible reviews and are hard to find. Thanks! I watched every video of yours for the PCT and really enjoyed them…

New Balance does not have the Accelerate shorts. The customer care lady could not tell me if New Balance will be selling those shorts any longer.
