Great review! I wish they’d come up with v2.1 goggles with the oled 1080p. My only real complaint with the Avata and it’s something you didn’t mention, Ken, is having to re-bind the original FPV drone when I feel like flying the old bird after having flown the Avata. It would be nice to just power up and send it

I appreciate your originality and unfiltery. I was blessed with an Avata, and fly it as it was designed for. But, using the wanker it came with. I'm not seeing the RC2 in stock anywhere yet, except on ebay for nearly twice the price.

Great review, but I still like the Motion Controller for me as a real beginner. I have been waiting for over a month for the RC Controller, not in sight yet. going to try those props and pick up a couple of Jock Straps as I am flying with the bumpers already. Good job Ken. Still looking for a tutorial on the rates and what do they really mean, if you get a chance. Hey don't see where to get those colored props fro the Avata, not on Drone-Works

Hi Bo, I'm somewhat new to being an Avata user and I mostly use it for real estate purposes. I've noticed that when I fly in some new builds, I'm getting a lot of flickering lights, I think mainly because a lot of these new houses have the new LED light bulbs. I've tried adjusting the Hz rates and the FPS from 50 to 60, but still getting some flickering. Have you experienced this too when you shoot video with the Avata for real estate purposes? Is there a way to combat this? Thanks!

Best content I've seen. This is my FIRST FPV drone and well pretty much MY FIRST DRONE. Let's go Karens - I too come off as arrogant and an asshole, NOT TRYIN TO BE!. I watched a million videos before making the jump to purchase this drone. lets just say. I fell for the 4k BLackhawk. Got the thing but it was an E80. Tried something a little pricier much better drone, then I stumbled onto the FPV Scene Well some of those LTR drones I wanted I couldn't get so I got this. I've flown it 3 times. With the Wank stick. (Not quite ready to break my drone having not yet dived into full ACRO mode) I'm having fun.

Just a matter of time before that RemoteID gets me in trouble though.

From a fellow asshole...the Avata is my 4th (and best) drone. As a 74 year-old Vietnam vet I can say without hesitation that the Avata gives the pilot a "helicopter view of the world"...without the muzzle flashes & door gunners. ✌

My biggest issue with the Goggles 2 is that I have bad astigmatism and getting custom lenses was going to cost $250. I traded my Goggles 2 to someone for their Goggles v2
