Another long format interview for the 'Talking Cycling' series. We are back in the office after the Tour Down Under and we welcome an international guest: Simon Mottram.
The founder of Rapha talks to Rob Arnold about a range of topics: cycling fashion, travel, professional racing, autism, design... etc.

It is almost 40 minutes long but the discussion could be of interest to those who know the Rapha brand but don't know much about its backstory.

This is why Backstage Pass from Orica Scott is king! The narrative and the characters is what we need.
Great interview!

Really enjoyed the interview Rob. Nice to hear Simon being so open, honest, and relaxed. Downloaded the audio so I could listen to it while out on the bike .

Thanks Rob - what an innovator and a progressive for the world of cycling - I had the privilege of riding and chatting with Simon at TDU - he is very approachable, fascinating and keen for feedback on his brand which is a lot more than I can say for some other CEOs and industry heads in cycling....no wonder Rapha is going places....

Really enjoying the content and the caliber of interviewees. Keep it up and you will be dominating this social media space in no time.

Completely agree with Simon Mottram that all rider-data should be made available, in fact it should just be compulsory for riders to release this data.

Great discussion Rob but as you've alluded to before you've got to upgrade your audio equipment. I nearly gave up a few times as I just couldn't hear you guys even on full volume and earphones.

I agree with mr cycling. I tried listening while on the trainer and could not hear it even with Bluetooth speakers. Great interviews though

"a club for people who cared about cycling" a very expensive and elitist club, tbh. :p
