Im fortunate enough to have a good house in the town and a small simple Cabin in the woods. And the simple cabin life always gives me more pleasure.

I find the ticking of a clock comforting although a bit loud, cover with a towel or similar to muffle the ticking a little. I find this cabin delightful wish I was there, it’s refreshing as it’s basic and uncomplicated. Most of us have too much clutter in our homes and this cabin reminds me when I was much younger with just basic living necessities. Cooking over a camp fire is always awesome, the burning wood smell is very nostalgic and food tastes much better cooked on a camp fire.
At the end of the stay, no vacuuming, dusting etc, BLISS!

Told the grandson that when I win the lottery (haha) I’m gunna buy a house with a load of land with woods on it, so we can go and build dens in the woods and camp out. Even make a ‘secret house’ so we can sleep in and all that. He asked for a swing and slide set
