EPIC moonrise behind Frauenkirche, Munich (Time lapse)
Показать описание
Time lapse of the moon rising behind the 2 towers of the Frauenkirche in Munich, Bavaria.
On that winter evening (09/02/2020) sunset was at 17:25 and moonrise at 17:37. So it was already pretty dark when the moon came up...
When I arrived at the planed photolocation (2km distance from the Frauenkirche) I could see low clouds and a lot of "haze" at the horizon.
So actually I was 90% sure that I would see NOTHING on that evening.
But I always setup my camera and start shooting, because I know that sometimes nature comes up with a surprise.
And you can see in the time lapse what happened: OUT OF THE DARK that GIANT ORANGE BALL suddenly appeared....
I have seen many moonrises so far, but that was really EPIC...
But it was difficult to shoot it: it was dark, the church in the dark, and the moon super bright.
I had to correct my camera settings during the time lapse, because the moon was so so bright.
And of course touching a camera with a 600m telelens in the middle of a time lapse causes some "shaking".
I tried to get rid of the problem in post editing, but you can still see the little shakes when I adjusted my camera settings.
