I believe the shadow kids and the glitching remains are souls of kids that have been cursed by the lady and the transmission differently. That's why they don't look alike, but if this is the case...then what's Shadow Six? Great vid btw!

Maybe the "its about time it was talking" maybe they were talking about when six turned on the TV and Veronica was talking, and nobody in the maw knew how to turn on. Not even the lady because the tvs in the pale city turned on via remote

I think that they are actually ash kids, the lady actually looks to be able to control sth more like ashes than shadows...glitching remainds...well, guess they are that.

Ok, well, I actually have to admit, most of this theory is really cannon. But, I do have a thought of my own. What if the shadow kids were once the souls of Nomes who, unfortunately, died in The Maw? I saw a frozen body of a Nome in the kitchen chapter, and I figured that it's spirit went to The Lady to be her forever guarding servent, and because of that their minds begin to be corrupted by The Lady, believing that they are helping other surviving children avoid the same mistake as they did but they are actually taking their souls from them to become more shadow kids. But hey, that's just what I thought, what do you think?

I think that maybe the Shadow Kids are more simply the "ghosts" of the dolls: we see in VLN that the dolls are made from kids, and the Maw and the Nest are clearly in contact, having the same security system, monsters, paintings, Nomes... and dolls. Also, the Shadow Kids' masks are like the dolls'. 2 + 2, guys.

Maybe following my theory that six WAS SUPOSED to become the 6th lady of the maw the by getting cought and then trained by her for said job but insted she won and ate her.
The line:"until six" reefer to six eating the lady and broke the loop of the maw (im not sure to say if she broke the whole time loop compelitely mybe each place in the little nightmares world has its own time loop? IDK)
The maw's cycle will live untill six, untill the sixth one, untill the sixth heiress
Maybe the shadow kids are able to predict the future, maybe they are created from the lady's mind and know's it from her(I also think that the lady put the miror we use to defeat her in the game in purpose to break the loop so thats a posibilety), maybe its some knowen prophcey or something IDK the posibilaties are endless
