Facelifts Where Are the Incisions
The incisions on a facelift are usually in front of the ear and then they are extended into the back portion of the ear and along the hairline in the back portion of the head. If we do work on the neck we will also usually make a transverse incision just behind the chin line that we have to address the muscles in the interior neck that have become loose. We will then sow those muscles together much like our corset to help define a better angle of the neck into the chin area.
