Age Equations, Wordy Questions and Epic Algebra! GRE and GMAT Quant Advice
Показать описание
Struggling with those 'in three years time, X will be 1/3 of Y questions'? Or how to solve the simultaneous equations that result efficiently? This video is for you!
I will go over a few tips for those wordy algebra questions that appear in the GRE and GMAT and that require you to set up and solve linear equations.
Here is the preview of my algebraic Quant advice:
You don’t have to write everything at once!
Don’t forget to add the time (usually years) to both sides!
‘Would have’, 'has', 'is', 'was', 'will be' all mean =
5 apples less than Banks
means ‘B – 5’ not ‘5 – B’
Giving affects both sides!
Good luck!
GRE and GMAT are two of most used graduate exams for those seeking to study a Masters Degree or Masters in Business Administration (MBA) degree. The Graduate Record Exam and Graduate Management Admissions Test have been taken for over 50 years and are taken by approximately 600,000 and 300,000 people worldwide annually, respectively. These exams are typically taken between the ages of 18-40, by those who have completed, or are about to complete, their Bachelors Degree.
