I was taken aback by the 10 year job outlook declining 10% for computer programmers. On the same website it says the outlook for Software Developers will increase by +25% and for Web Developers +23%.
Looks like the job title computer programmer is just not as relevant anymore.

Interesting and informative video. Recently I got over a 5-10 year video game addiction. I was one of the best players and used alot of ahk scripts- I understand the basic logic behind programming but have limited experience. I need to get my life in order and that involves either studying a trade or IT. I sometimes wonder if because of AI tools and no code software am is it even worth starting from scratch and learning to code for employment. I'm a smart guy and work hard when I focus but If it's just better for me to go trade school and learn a skill I know won't be outdated. But tbh I'd much rather become a dev than a labourer.
