Amazing video as always Tails and idk if its just me but the quality of these recent videos has gone way up (not that the others are not also amazing)! That puppy analogy was a funny yet amazing way to say what part on Barioth to attack😂 I was laughing so hard with the music change from happy and sweet to a sinister monster theme when you started talking about the puppy ripping the ball apart to transition it to you ripping Barioths legs to shreds😂

Finally decided to try mushroomancer and used your tips from this video and holy cow was he so much easier. Can't believe I failed this quest 10 times my first playthrough, then this time did it first try.

I honestly love Barioth after getting over the difficulty spike.
If you play smart and break one of his claws quickly, the fight just becomes SO MUCH EASIER.

Barioth is GU is my favorite regular hunt in that game. When going through G rank I crafted the entire armor set and never really ended up using it. The fight is just that fun.

I learned to fight Barioth in tri, and while it didn't have banbaro armor, it had lance, and its shield helped me survive long enough to actually get a good look at its moveset and get a feel for its tells.

How to kill nimble monsters

a. fight them enough to learn the moveset.

c. SHROOMS

I don't remember how I beat this guy. I remember I was having a lot of problems at the beginning of IB, even the Beotodus gave me a lot of problems. I probably used an SoS flare and got other people to help me against it lmao. But one thing that helped me a lot to get through a lot of difficult fights in this game, specially at the beginning, is to use the insect glaive. It's not so easy to use against smaller monsters or the end game monsters, but it's pretty easy to use against large monsters and monsters that move a lot like Barioth. Just vault into the air and spam the forward attack or the "pogo stick" accordingly with the red and orange extracts.
