they would be even more pissed if they treated german special by not using the STANDARD intro to aces high that they always have used. Iron maiden preaches equality and doing anything else would be hypocritical. I think most of their fans agree.

I wish an iron maiden's german fan to tell me what was the sensation to see the introduction video of churchill's speech. I mean i don't know maybe for some german that's a bit embarassing, every single german carries something that wasn't their fault in the history of the world. A great country with great people.If i would be german that would be a sad moment for me to go to a concert to have fun and see this video.

These guys have some fuckin' balls to not only play a Churchill speech in India, but to display swastikas in Germany. Though the crowd came for the music anyway so no biggie.

Is is just me, or did anybody else feel that the crowd lost a significant amount of enthusiasm when the WW2 video came up?

This is such a shame, and it has to stop. In my experience, the vast majority of young Germans are kind, gentle and fun-loving people. Don't let yourselves be embarrassed by what happened two or three generations ago by people you have never met. Just don't. Don't let anybody tell you that you should feel ashamed, this is stupid. Let's never forget, but let's also move on and be united in peace (and, if I may say so, in metal).
