This test is so clearly biased that I will now avoid buying a mantus anchor at all costs.

This isn't a sound test...the conditions for each anchor are different, specifically drag angle and chain interference. 5 of the competitors anchors are stuck on the chain to the following anchor. If you anchor with multiple anchors on one chain you will have this problem and you probably shouldn't be a captain. Additionally, anchors aren't of a similar weight. An anchor 2 lbs heavier (18% in the test case) should perform better. Now test them one at a time, measure the tension in the chain when the anchor drags, the time to set, and do it in water....now there's a valid test...just say'n. Descent anchor for the price point though.

I'm only going to add what others have but the other anchors can be seen to be trying to dig into the chain, which obviously will not work. Unfair test.

Need to do 1 at a time with a load cell or lbs scale to really see which holds more weight before pulling out of the sand.

This is a bogus test. Have the truck 20' in the air and then try dragging the various anchors again - guaranteed different results.

It is video the anchor does not work, pass it in slow motion, the ultra anchor starts first than the others in logic that you tilt the crossbar in your favor

What a bullshit test ... put the Mantus into the row with the other anchors and put one out of it into the single chain and you will see the Mantus will not work but the other single one. 🤦‍♂️

Such a poor test! I have a Bruce and I know it sets quickly. This video shows a string of anchors against one on its own and suprise suprise it's the mantus! Not much of a fair test is it, especially as all the anchors in the string are designed for single anchor only!!! Big thumbs down from me! Shame was looking for a larger storm back up and liked the take apart aspect. Do a fair video and I may purchase one!!

Terrible test you need to test 1 anchor at The time. If you have all of them on one road you dont get the lift of the chain or the right momentum
