As a Jurassic Fan myself, I watch Camp Cretaceous up till before this season and stopped because I felt like the plot lines just didn’t feel right. I get why they did it. Yaz is Muslim so it’s supposed to be a statement of diversity and acceptance. Personally I never really cared for romance in the Jurassic franchise. It’s implied in the first 3 movies. In fact, one of the underlying themes of the first 3 movies is healing broken families. I notice though, as time goes on, sister like relationships are slowly becoming romantic relationships. Sex has more or less become god in modern society. People now define their existence on their sexuality.

They've been forshadowing that in between those two female characters since the first season. None of my sibs noticed it except for my mother and I. After the 5th season was finished airing while none of us hadn't seen it, little birdy came and told me to do a quick research on the show and.... my golly, thank God for that penguin.

I questioned why Ron DeSantis or DeSantos, my memory, was picking a fight with Disney but now I know. Every single storyline has gay or trans in. Or even drag. When will it end.

Tbh, I never fully understood why they decided to do that. They could of worked as just best friends but, at the same time, season 5 came out 2 years ago. Why is it now just getting hate? People seemed fine 2 years ago when it came out why is it suddenly an issue?? This doesn't mean tho I'm defending it at all. I still don't get why they had to put then together. Just don't get why it's getting hate just now, even tho it came out 2 years ago

one 2 minute plot line does not ruin the whole franchise, just skip the episode or season if u dont like it idk its a dinosaur show.(this is just my opinion)

I am a huge Jurassic Park fan. Firstly, this show was never meant for kids, it was meant for teenagers. Secondly, none of the Jurassic Park fans give a care about this. Thirldly, a 2 minute scene doesn't ruins a franchise. Fourthly, Kenji x Brooklyn happened. Fithly, it barely impacted the story. Sixthly, no one cared two years ago. Lastly, the whole episode in the show ehere they kissed was all about helping one of them with their trauma of dinosaurs and social relationships like the previous episode that focused on Darius and Kenji. IF YOUR RELIGION GOES AGAINST THE WOKE, I AM FINE WITH THAT AS LONG AS YOU STAY RESPECTFUL TO THEM.

Seems kind of ironic that Dave Ruben had anything to say about this having 'kids' himself. We stopped watching this series because of this scene and more in the show.

If it's bad to show homosexual pairs in shows for kids, we also should not show hetero pairs. That's same thing. Both Heterosaexualism and Homosexualism are normal for every animal species on earth. It's not about activism it's about sexuality as whole. Kid seeing homo pair kiss do not makes it homosexual. Same other way around. So we either show both or none, and I see none as best choice in movies for kids in age to 11.

Unless this stuff was written for teens and tweens (it doesn't strike me that way at all) kids don't like kissing and romance.

And the sort of kissing you _did_ see in kids shows would be like Mom giving Dad a peck while the kids were like "GROSS, " which is exactly how kids feel about all of this.

Why does the Jurassic World kids show have more romance than any of the movies? 😂 I know there’s romance in the original films but this feels so much more obvious

I don't know why they even need a love story in children's tv shows. Yes, even a heterosexual love story. They are kids. They don't need to be thinking about finding love or to whom they are attracted. That will come on its own. We as parents need to find a way to let our kids know that nothing if off limits for discussion. I want my daughters to feel comfortable enough that they can talk to me or their mother about anything and to never feel scared or embarrassed. I still don't know how to exactly do that but I try and remind them all the time to be honest and I will always love them, no matter what. My daughters loved this show for the dinosaurs. Yes, they cared for the main characters and didn't want to see them eaten, but they also would then pretend to be dinosaurs on the camp and be trapped or hunting prey.

Can we just let kids be kids? They have a long time to figure themselves out. Let them have the first 10 years or so to just play and pretend to be a wolf or a dinosaur.

Also the show isn't really just for little kids, serious older Jurassic fans can enjoy it too Why are people so mad at this it's just 2 characters liking eachother . Although to be fair it would've been more entertaining if one of them got eaten by a dino or something
