I had the distinct pleasure of seeing Ms. Jobarteh and her band in concert on her current tour with Taj Mahal. I became an instantaneous fan. Amazing music, deeply rooted in a rich culture.

My God, those deep eyes and especially that voice is unmistakable, similar to Sade. I just stumbled upon her earlier today and I can't stop searching for her songs. One can listen to her sultry voice all band and traditional instruments is such a beautiful blend !

I'm not sure what's cooler- the fantastic music or the responses from all over the world. Music touches the human soul.
