Just imagine how much guts, courage and self-awareness you need to have to admit that opponent was better tonight. That gentleman is a class. Hats off.

Respect to Jan for saying that! Massive respect! Judges can’t say the same to you.

I am now a massive fan of Jan - this was closer than the Paddy fight - but Jan is a man that deserves respect. Massive fan to the Polish warrior

Mad respect for Jared Gordon. He gets robbed and still comes out right after to translate!

Who would come and say, give the belt to my opponent ? Jan showed what kind of a man he is. Its nice to see honorable people still exists in this colapsed world .

Huge respect for Jan, admit he didn't win and even come back to tell everyone to give the belt to Ankalaev

So much respect for Jan. 99.9% of fighters who know they lost will still act like they deserved it in a win or draw situation. The fact that he keeps it real is extremely honorable. He only wants the victory if he truly feels he earned it.

Watching this fight almost get me heart attack. They fight really really hard. And what makes it really amazing is that Ankalaev came back after so much damage on his both legs.
Unfortunately, the judges saw different things from what we witness. If there is so called champ with no crown then Ankalaev is the man. Also huge huge respect for Jan. He is true gentleman.

Props to Ankalaev for fighting through the pain, he got both legs fucked up badly and he still pushed till the end. I knew he was good in skills but now he showed he has a big heart

Someone asked Dana who won Jan or Ankalaev and he said Paddy Pimblett.

The way both Jan and Magomed looked at each other after the draw was announced and they both had this moment of like "Dude can you believe these judges..."

For everyone saying Ankalaev is acting arrogant; the man almost had his legs chopped off halfway through the fight. Both of his legs were GONE. It is unbelievable that he didn't get finished, even more so the fact that he arguably beat Jan. The man just fought for his LIFE in there, he was even crying on his walk out of the arena. I can't imagine the heartbreak.

Jan is too humble fo his own good. He asked UFC to give the belt to Ankalaev because he knows Ankalaev won that fight🏆 Respect

The last round was the perfect example if what makes a 10-8 round. My heart wanted Jan to win but after the last 2 rounds Ankalaev did enough to win the fight. Thanks for the show, warriors.
