Welcome to Booktube! I love mysteries too. I mainly read cozy mysteries. Books that won't keep me up at night. I also read the types of non-fiction books that you mentioned. I've been enjoying your videos and I'm glad I found your channel. You may have already checked out these Booktubers channels but some Booktubers that I would recommend that also love mysteries are LizzieFayeLovesBooks (hosts March Mystery Madness), Courtagonist, Intentionally Bookish, and Kate Howe (hosts Cloak and Dagger Christmas in December). All of them read cozies but Kate branches out more with some hard-boiled mysteries and historical mysteries as well.

Yes! 🙌 I always get so excited to find fellow mystery lovers. I'm only just over two weeks away from my first Booktube Birthday and I've maybe only managed to connect with one or two other channels that love mysteries as much as I do. Don't get me wrong if I find a person interesting I don't really mind listening to them talk about anything so it doesn't matter that most of my friends are fantasy lovers it's just always nice to stumble across somebody who feels the same way I do about a good mystery :D. I'm exactly the same as you in terms of loving the feeling of a story making your brain work and trying to work out what the truth is and who is behind whatever dastardly thing has happened. I'm constantly jumping around in my head trying to play amateur detective and work out who the villain is but most of the time I'm wrong 🤣. Hmm what tips can I give you about growth? Just keep plugging away, connect with people and be yourself. Sounds a bit cliched but that's all I've been doing and it seems to be working for me so far. I just always try to make content that I enjoy and have fun with and hope others find it as fun as I do. It was nerve wracking when I first started as I had no idea if people were going to be interested in hearing a blind guy talk about reading but honestly the last year has been more fun than I can even tell you. Can't wait to become more familiar with your content and watch your channel grow :) e
