Game Recap: Pistons 131, Mavericks 125

After closing the game on an 11-2 run, the Pistons defeated the Mavericks in overtime, 131-125. Bojan Bogdanovic recorded 30 points (10-14 FG, 5-6 3pt FG) for the Pistons, while Killian Hayes added 22 points (10-13 FG) and eight assists in the victory, including eight points in overtime. Luka Doncic led all scorers with 35 points, five rebounds, and 10 assists for the Mavericks in the losing effort. The Pistons improve to 6-18 on the season, while the Mavericks fall to 10-11.

Watch the defenders on both teams. They give space like the offensive player is going to drive to the basket. It's 2022, the paint is too clogged up from all of the screens and everyone else sagging, nobody is making a move to the basket so they're all wide open to shoot threes or long twos. It literally is a pre-game shoot around. The announcers make it sound hype, but watch it, four guys hovering around the arc, the ball handler dribbles to the FT line, realizes that the defense has sagged so far off the other teammates, that he can pass it to any of the 4 open guys. When a player does attack the rim, everyone is confused and they just stand there. Hell, the defenders actually stepped out of Doncic's way and let him lay the ball up hahahaha. This is why they scored 125 and 131 points.

The rule makers have killed defending. No one wants to watch this rubbish like the NBA thinks.
