I thought of trying the Vertec until i saw no pulley. Now i shall wait for the Buckingham Throttle and Reg Coate's creation to see if one of those makes sense.

When Nick Bonner dropped his Tree Stuff Vertec vid, I thought, “sweet, he’ll probably tell us why they’ve done away with the pulley”. He didn’t address it. Seems like I may have been on to something. I love all the other upgrades, especially the “on the fly” (if your fingernails are strong?!) friction adjustment, but I may be waiting for the VertecPro😂. Thanks for sharing, and keep up the good work, Tree Brother🤙

They have released a recall on that lower piece that you clip into. Check with the dealer or by all manufacturer! Problem is already known and being fixed! 👌🏻

I own the og singing tree and this...im 145 and friction has been an issue with the vertec. Back on my og year 5 witth the same frame

Yeah, my first impression was that I was going to call it the rope jogger. There is nothing about that system that runs.

Change the carabiner on the vertec to a rock exotica rock’O carabiner it will tend better, there’s loads of guys who have struggled with this including myself 😅

They built it cheaper and charged more money. The original Rope Runner is still the smoothest of the three.
